Contains information on all operating refineries within the U.S. as well as outside the U.S. as reported in each year's Worldwide Refinery Report in Oil & Gas Journal from 1986-2008.

Inactive file includes data on refineries that last operated between the years 1980 and 2007. Data on these inactive refineries are taken from the survey in the year of last operation.
