Martin is currently responsible for the Energy & Engineering Industry Strategy within OpenText. Based on his extensive experience in the industry and with content management solutions, Martin has worked with customers and lead the effort to design, develop, and deploy industry solutions aimed at managing documents and processes with the engineering functions of energy companies.
Martin started his career as a Plant Engineer in the Automotive Industry in the UK before moving to Intergraph’s Plant Design Team in the late 1980’s and has been in the IT industry since then. Martin started working with the Documentum products in 1995 while at Cap Gemini and was a founder and EVP at McLaren Software and established their US operations. Martin joined EMC’s Content Division in 2004 and was Global head of sales for Professional Services before heading up the Energy and Engineering business in 2011.
